What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
Within 30 days you will:
· Go through the company’s on boarding process which includes the orientation program
· Meet line manager, peers and the team members reporting to you for understanding the work culture at Jazz
· Grow understanding of how you fit into the Regional Operating Model, your tasks and how you will carry them out
· Visit and familiarize yourself with the market area falling under your region which includes meeting business partners (franchise) as well as the retailers.
Within 60 days, you will:
· Grasp deep knowledge of your work and how it contributes to the overall success of the company
· Building contacts and understanding how to get the work done smoothly and efficiently
· Mentoring your team members, take ownership of their issues and ensure escalation at the appropriate forums for improved efficiency. Grooming the employees to be ready for future assignments
· Devise measures and strategy to enhance profitability of Franchises, Retailer network and Business Centers
· Establish, develop and maintain distribution and retail network
· Be engaged in Franchise business development; implement company policy with respect to routing of distribution officers
· Devise strategy and roadmap for accomplishment of assigned sales targets, track sales progress and rectify anomalies
Within 90 days to onwards you will:
· Take full ownership of the tasks that have been assigned to your team
· Be expected to develop healthy relations with the retailers, franchise owners of your area.
· Continuously review and bring improvements in KPIs assigned to you and your team
· Be proactive and creative by bringing forward new ideas and processes for the betterment of your whole team.
· Oversee effective executive of Management’s initiatives of selling through the retail channels
· Ensure growth of the team by working on their needs of personal and professional grooming
· Keep the top management updated on the competitive land scape
· Coordinate with various departments to develop harmony and effective area play promos
A Bit About You:
We are looking for someone who has already delivered on challenging projects and has taken end-to-end responsibility from planning to excellent execution. An individual who can supervise sales and distribution teams and provide guidance to improve the effectiveness of sales and distribution channel.
You must have excellent communication skills to be able to advocate/defend his/her view point with professionalism. Resilience, maturity, responsibility, are some of the other qualities that we expect from you. Should have a structured approach towards problem solving and be able to analyze, understand and recommend solutions to complex problems. Should be a strong team player so that he/she is able to lead people effectively, ensuring their motivation and happiness with the job.
The structure of the team you will join is:
This position reports to the Chief Commercial officer who is responsible to develop and drive implementation of strategy for Commercial function within Jazz. A team of four line managers will be directly reporting into you who will further be leading teams/sub team – approximately 200 plus employees will be part of your team.
The two (02) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
Protect leading position in the market and grow market share
Provide leadership to engage, motivate and inspire sales force to bring best results in the most ethical manner
To collaborate and produce effective business results, the role requires:
Collaborative efforts of teams will result in smooth execution of processes and problem solving which would immensely help in achieving KPIs set by the company.
The two (02) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results:
Meeting Assigned Targets
Strengthening Channel
The three (03) must have past experiences the candidate should have:
Proven track record of high achievement, preferably in Sales Management
Channel Development
Leadership
The two (02) must have technologies the candidate should have:
Technology savvy candidates will be preferred with the ability to contribute towards digital distribution system
Ability to use Social media to engage customer and employees
Essential skills must have:
In-depth knowledge of Channel Management and Marketing.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes proven record of leading large diverse teams.
Ability to work in a matrix organization with minimal supervision
